Laparoscopic appendectomy is one of the most common acute abdominal conditions in clinical practice. Generally, there are 2 main operating holes chosen for the location of the incision. 1. A one-centimeter curved incision is taken below the navel. This interface is used to implant a laparoscopic probe for exploring intra-abdominal organ infections, which is an exploratory incision. 2. A small incision of 4 centimeters, 5 mm, is taken directly below the navel. This is the secondary operating hole for the procedure, which is used for lifting, traction of the appendix, revealing the appendiceal mesentery and the appendiceal artery, etc. 3. The main operating hole is usually chosen at the intersection of the right anterior axillary line and the level of the belly button. The main operating hole is mainly used for cutting and separating the appendix, aspirating the blood accumulated in the abdominal cavity, and finally removing the appendix specimen.
