What causes localized facial paralysis

Localized facial paralysis, i.e. peripheral facial paralysis, refers to facial nerve paralysis, which is caused by damage to the facial nerve. The causes of the disease include cold irritation, infection and tumor compression.
1. Cold stimulation: When the weather is hot, blowing air-conditioner for a long time or blowing to a fan after sweating, or being exposed to wind or cold in cold weather may lead to localized facial paralysis.
