Ciproxin is a vasodilator drug. It can be used clinically for tinnitus and vertigo after cerebral insufficiency, vertebral artery insufficiency, cerebral thrombosis, as well as prophylaxis of migraine and common migraine, and symptomatic treatment of peripheral vertigo diseases, such as vestibular dysfunction. However, if taken for a long period of time, it may lead to extrapyramidal reactions and depression, which are serious adverse effects and should be discontinued promptly. Ciprofloxacin is contraindicated in patients with Parkinson’s disease or other extrapyramidal disorders. The duration of clinical application of Cipro should not exceed 7 days in elderly people and 1 month in young people with chronic vertigo.
