White chrysanthemum is a kind of chrysanthemum, which is white and belongs to the family Asteraceae, and is a perennial herb. At present, there is no independent genus in Chinese botanical history, and folklore refers to white color chrysanthemum, also known as Hang Chrysanthemum, Hang Bai Chrysanthemum, Tea Chrysanthemum, Medicine Chrysanthemum, all mean white chrysanthemum, and all refer to the same kind of chrysanthemum. White chrysanthemum contains dried chrysanthemum, amino acids, flavonoids and a variety of vitamins and trace elements. Chinese medical research shows that white chrysanthemum has many effects such as nourishing the liver, brightening the eyes, clearing the heart, tonifying the kidneys, strengthening the spleen and stomach, moistening the throat and regulating blood lipids. White chrysanthemum is mainly distributed in Henan, Anhui and Zhejiang. The main morphological characteristics are the inflorescence is oblate, irregularly spherical or slightly compressed, with a diameter of 1.5-4cm.
