67 year old male with 0.2 lung nodule need biopsy?

A lung nodule 0.2 cm in a 67-year-old man does not require biopsy, and the clinical management plan for the corresponding nodule is mainly regular review, with a high likelihood of benign lesions. Tiny nodules 0.2 cm found in the lungs of 67-year-old men are mostly lymph nodes or residual fibrotic tissue in the lungs. A biopsy of the nodule is not necessary because the likelihood of malignancy is extremely low, and even if a biopsy is performed, the likelihood of penetrating the corresponding tissue is very small. Clinical review of the nodule is only required on an annual basis to observe changes. If the nodule is found to be persistently enlarged and irregular in shape during the review process, the clinic suspects malignancy and needs to consult a doctor in time and perform radical resection through surgery to avoid delaying the condition.
