Cerebrovascular diseases include.
Ischemic cerebrovascular disease: e.g. cerebral infarction, transient ischaemic attack, etc.
Haemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease: e.g. cerebral haemorrhage, subarachnoid haemorrhage, epidural and subdural haemorrhage; some cerebrovascular diseases (e.g. smouldering disease, venous sinus thrombosis, etc.) may be both ischaemic and haemorrhagic.
There are also some cerebrovascular diseases that can occur without ischaemic or haemorrhagic manifestations during certain periods, but without reasonable control or intervention, can predispose to ischaemic or haemorrhagic damage, such as cerebral artery stenosis, cerebral small vessel disease, and cerebrovascular malformations.
