Is there any harm in hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is not harmful and may be an invasive operation with complications. The main manifestations are: 1. The endometrial tissues of the uterus or cervix are removed during the examination, causing rupture of blood vessels and bleeding and vaginal bleeding after the operation. 2. The hysteroscope enters the uterus through the vagina and the cervical opening during the operation, which may cause infection of the uterus and lead to vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease or endometritis if the sterilization is improper. 3. Some women have undergone caesarean section, and the position of the scar and abdominal wall adhesions may change the shape of the uterus, which may cause uterine perforation during hysteroscopy. 5. Postoperative symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, irregular menstruation, and even infertility may occur.
