Do Nuchal translucency cysts go away on their own?

Generally speaking, nuchal cysts do not go away on their own and need to be reviewed regularly or given relevant treatment. Most of these cysts are physiological changes of the cervix, and although they do not subside, they do not require special treatment and can be reviewed periodically without affecting the body. If the cysts are formed due to inflammatory lesions such as chronic cervicitis, resulting in infection and blockage of the glandular ducts, corresponding anti-inflammatory and other treatments should be carried out according to the cause, and the cysts can improve or even disappear; if there is an increase in leucorrhea, odor, blood mixed with leucorrhea, lumbar acidity, or even pressure symptoms such as frequent urination and poor urination, surgical removal and other treatments should be carried out in a timely manner. In addition, the appearance of nasal cysts should be reviewed regularly at the gynecology department for hysteroscopy, cervical TCT and other examinations to understand the condition of the cysts, while paying attention to the hygiene of the vulva and changing underwear regularly to avoid infection.
