Once the thumb is misaligned it will produce the following clinical symptoms: First, it leads to significant pain in the thumb. When the thumb is once misaligned, the joint capsule and surrounding soft tissues will be damaged to varying degrees, which will inevitably lead to pain and swelling in the thumb, and the heavier the degree of swelling, the heavier the degree of pain will be. Secondly, when the thumb is misaligned it will also lead to thumb dysfunction. The continuity and integrity of the bone is destroyed after the thumb is misaligned, and the function of the thumb is bound to be seriously affected, leading to joint tonicity in a fixed position and triggering joint dysfunction. Finally, misalignment of the thumb can also lead to significant local deformity.
