The new strategy for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes, i.e. the “SELECT” six points of glucose lowering, Smooth, Early, Long-term, Effective, Combination and Total Risk Reduction, or “SELECT” six points of high-quality glucose lowering, is aimed at improving the effectiveness of diabetes prevention and treatment.
