Symptoms of spinal cord cervical spondylosis may include sensory disturbances in the limbs, abnormal sensations in the trunk, and urinary and bowel dysfunction. 1. Sensory impairment of the limbs: Patients with spinal cord cervical spondylosis may experience numbness of the limbs, weakness and inflexibility of the hands, such as difficulty in writing. 2. Abnormal trunk sensation: Patients may have abnormal trunk sensation, often in the abdomen, chest and other parts of the body, there is a belt-like binding sensation, called “belt sensation”. The lower limbs and trunk are accompanied by burning sensation and cold sensation. 3. Urinary and faecal dysfunction: some serious patients may have bladder and rectal dysfunction, such as frequent urination, urinary urgency, and even urinary incontinence or defecation disorders.
