Early signs and symptoms of maxillary sinus cancer

Early stage of maxillary sinus cancer usually has no obvious symptoms and manifestations, which is easy to be ignored. As the disease progresses, patients may have symptoms such as nasal congestion, nosebleed, increased nasal secretion and so on. Early stage of maxillary sinus cancer usually has no obvious symptoms and manifestations. As the tumor grows and destroys the sinus wall and involves the adjacent tissues, different degrees of nasal congestion, nasal bleeding, increased nasal secretion, displacement of eyeballs, diplopia, swelling of buccal sulcus, loosening of teeth, pain and restriction of mouth opening may appear. If maxillary sinus cancer shows obvious symptoms, it usually represents that the cancer has entered the middle or late stage. It is suggested that patients can go to the hospital for physical examination, imaging examination and pathological examination to make a clear diagnosis. Once diagnosed as maxillary sinus cancer, treatment should be carried out immediately.
