How long does it take for kidney cancer to go from early to late stage

Kidney cancer from early to advanced stage may take several decades or more, and some of them are advanced when they start to be found, and some of them may start to have no obvious symptoms, especially in early stage kidney cancer, many of which have no obvious symptoms and are not easy to be found. Different types or different stages of kidney cancer develop at different speeds. One of the most common pathological types of most of the kidney cancers is called clear cell carcinoma of the kidney, which has better effect after early treatment, such as doing surgery for radical treatment, usually unilateral nephrectomy or partial nephrectomy, and can be combined with bio-immunotherapy after the surgery, which is mainly applying interferon or interleukin-2 treatment. In addition, if kidney cancer has already metastasized or is found in middle or late stage, it can be considered to apply targeted drug therapy. The commonly used ones are Sorafenib and Sunitinib, which can also slow down the progression of the disease if the treatment effect with the drugs is better.
