What’s wrong with drinking and joint pain?

Drinking joint pain may be caused by gouty arthritis flare-ups or lactic acid buildup, among other things. 1. Gouty arthritis: is a kind of pathological damage and inflammatory reaction caused by urate deposition in the joint capsule, bursa, cartilage, bone and other tissues. Excessive alcohol consumption can lead to purine or uric acid metabolism disorders, increased blood uric acid levels, thus causing gouty arthritis attacks and lead to joint pain after drinking. 2. Lactic acid accumulation: after drinking alcohol, capillary dilatation and muscle excitability of the whole body are high, resulting in the production of lactic acid; drinking a lot of alcohol can lead to temporary metabolic dysfunction of the liver, which is unable to metabolize the excessive alcohol, so that the metabolites such as lactic acid will accumulate in the muscles and joints, thus causing pain in the joints and the surrounding muscles. If you have gouty arthritis, please limit your alcohol consumption to avoid aggravation of the condition. If the pain in the joints does not go away on its own, please seek medical advice.
