Rice bumps on the cervix

Rice bumps on the cervix are usually due to inflammation of the cervix and the formation of storage cysts caused by blockage of the opening of the cervical glands, which are usually benign. If there are more rice-like bumps, it may cause increased discharge and even pain in the lower abdomen. If a woman has symptoms, she should be given timely and symptomatic treatment. If there are no obvious symptoms, it can be temporarily observed. If there is no abnormality in TCT or HPV examination and there are rice-like bumps on the cervix, it can be left untreated for the time being; however, if the cervical cancer examination indicates that there are atypical squamous epithelial cells or HPV(+) on the cervix, it is recommended to perform further cervical biopsy to clarify the diagnosis and carry out effective treatment.
