Fever take hot towel or cold towel

When you have a fever, take a cold towel and put it on your forehead to lower the temperature of the blood in the blood vessels of your forehead through the temperature difference to achieve the effect of aiding in cooling. This is a physical cooling method similar to a fever patch, so use a cold towel on your forehead. If you use a hot towel, it will not achieve the effect of lowering the temperature of the blood in the blood vessels. In addition to using a cold towel on the forehead, you can also clip a cold towel or ice pack to the armpit or groin, which are rich in blood vessels, to assist in cooling the temperature. If the fever is significant, medical appliances such as ice blankets or ice caps may be used to assist with physical cooling. In addition to cold compresses, you can also use warm water baths, or alcohol baths to assist in cooling. If the body temperature exceeds 38.5°C, oral antipyretics should be taken along with physical cooling.
