Rheumatoid generally refers to rheumatoid arthritis, which is not self-healing. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, systemic autoimmune disease with erosive, symmetrical polyarthritis as the main clinical manifestation. The exact pathogenesis is unknown. The basic pathological changes are chronic inflammation of the synovial membrane, formation of vascular cataracts, and gradual destruction of articular cartilage and bone, ultimately leading to joint deformity and loss of function. The etiology and pathogenesis are complex. Under the combined effect of multiple factors such as genetics, infection and environment, immune damage and repair caused by autoimmune response are the basis for the occurrence and development of rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by symmetrical swelling and pain in multiple joints of the hands, wrists and feet, often accompanied by morning stiffness, and may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fatigue, low-grade fever, muscle aches and pains, and weight loss. In a few cases, the disease starts acutely and typical joint symptoms appear within a few days. As the disease progresses, it can also cause joint deformity. The disease cannot be cured on its own without standardized treatment after diagnosis. When rheumatoid arthritis and other related discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner to receive examination and treatment, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the diagnosis and treatment, in order to slow down the development of the disease process.
