How does appendicitis in pregnancy cause

Appendicitis in pregnancy develops mainly due to bacterial infection, impaired blood flow to the appendix, or obstruction of the lumen with a growth stone, and has little to do with pregnancy itself. For appendicitis in pregnancy, it has atypical symptoms. Because the proportion of space occupied by the uterus in the abdominal cavity is increasing and growing rapidly, the appendix is pushed into the right upper abdomen by the uterus. Then when there is inflammation, the painful position is correspondingly elevated. And the abdominal wall is elevated, when there is inflammation of the appendix, the peritoneum is not stimulated, so there will be no peritonitis, and the whole symptoms of pressure pain, rebound pain and muscle tension are not obvious, so the diagnosis should be actively made in the early stage and treatment should not be delayed. For appendicitis in pregnant women in early pregnancy, surgery should be the main focus. In contrast, for acute appendicitis in the prodromal period, a cesarean section should be considered, along with removal of the diseased appendix.
