Abstract: To observe the hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic effects of glycolipid Kang capsules. METHODS: One hundred and eighty patients were treated with glycolipid Kang capsules (0.9g/dose, three times/day for 4-5 weeks), and TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and FBS, 2h-BS were measured before and after treatment to evaluate their therapeutic effects. RESULTS: The effect of glycolipid capsules in lowering serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG ) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) was very obvious, and could increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C), and blood glucose (FBS, 2h-BS) was decreased. Conclusion: 2.7g of Glucomannan capsule per day has positive efficacy in the treatment of hyperlipidemia and adjuvant therapy for diabetes mellitus, and there were no obvious side effects during the observation period.
