What to do if your ears are blocked

Ears often become plugged because they are not cleaned of ear wax in a timely manner. It can even cause other diseases such as infection and inflammation. You can clean the outer ear canal, clean the middle ear, and see a doctor.

1. Clean the outer ear canal. When the ear does not appear to be infected, but just blocked alone, you can go buy some medicine or configure some material yourself and heat it to make sure the temperature is right and not too hot or too cold. Lie down with the ear facing up and slowly drip the solvent in. Keep it for 10 to 15 minutes and then discharge the solvent with the ear facing downwards, at which point the ear wax will also be discharged and the ear unblocked.

2. Clean the middle ear. Blockage in the middle ear occurs because the pressure between the middle ear and the outer ear is not balanced enough, causing pain. Simply use some simple actions to make the middle ear vibrate to balance the pressure between the two. For example, chewing gum, taking a deep breath and then exhaling, etc.

3. See a doctor. When these two methods above have been tried and no relief is found for the blocked ear, then you need to see a doctor. This is because it could be a problem that occurs in the inner ear location. It is especially important to seek medical attention when there is a deterioration in hearing.

A blocked ear is most often a minor problem that can be fixed with simple methods. However, when there is pain and bleeding in the ear at the same time, seeing a doctor is a must.
