What does stage II breast cancer mean?

Stage II breast cancer is mostly described as progressive breast cancer, which is simply understood as stage II breast cancer, neither early breast cancer nor advanced breast. Simply staged, early breast cancer usually has a good prognosis after surgical local excision, and most patients may not even need to do chemotherapy. As for advanced breast cancer, it usually means that the breast cancer has appeared distant tissue metastasis, such as the appearance of lung, liver, bone, and even brain metastasis, and the opportunity of surgical treatment is usually lost, and the main purpose is to take chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatments, which are aimed at improving the patient’s symptoms and prolonging the patient’s life. Progressive breast cancer usually includes Stage II and Stage III, and the overall cure rate of Stage II is more than 50% after timely radical surgical resection and comprehensive treatment such as postoperative chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and even molecular-targeted drugs.
