Oxycodone Hydrochloride Extended Release Tablets are mainly used for the relief of persistent moderate-to-severe pain. It is an opioid analgesic drug. It is a pure opioid agonist analgesic with no maximum dose limit and can be gradually increased if pain control is poor. If given at the appropriate dose, it can control pain within 12 hours and is well tolerated by most patients. If pain is not well controlled after every 12 hours of administration, an increased dose of the drug should be given.
