The drug is a selective 5-HT4 receptor agonist that agonizes 5-HT4 receptors in the submucosal plexus of the digestive tract and promotes the release of acetylcholine, thus having a prokinetic effect on the upper gastrointestinal tract. Anticholinergics such as atropine have the potential to reduce the effectiveness of this drug, so it should be spaced out when combined. Taking Mosapride Citrate Tablets may have adverse reactions such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, skin rash and tiredness, dry mouth, dizziness and palpitations.
