Abdominal CT examination can observe the anatomical structure of the abdominal organs, but also can determine the abdominal organs malignant tumors, benign tumors and metastatic tumors and other occupying lesions or whether there is tuberculosis, inflammation, abscesses and other infectious lesions. Therefore, abdominal CT examination of the stomach and intestines is of some use. Abdominal ultrasound can check the organs such as pancreas, liver, gallbladder, spleen, etc. It can diagnose liver diseases such as fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, hepatic hemangioma, primary and metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma, etc.; gallbladder diseases such as gallbladder stones, acute and chronic cholecystitis, etc.; and pancreatic diseases such as acute and chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic occupying lesions. Therefore, abdominal ultrasound is commonly used to check the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and other organs, and less for checking gastrointestinal diseases. However, if you want to directly and effectively observe the internal lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, it is recommended to perform gastroscopy and enteroscopy.
