Difference between Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Panax ginseng

The differences between Chuanxiong and Panax notoginseng are different flavors and attributed to the meridian, different efficacy, different clinical applications, and different precautions for the use of medication. 1. Differences in flavor and attribution: (1) Rhizoma Ligusticum Chuanxiong is pungent, warm and pungent in nature, and belongs to the liver, gallbladder and pericardium meridians. Different medication precautions: (1) The adverse reactions and contraindications of Chuanqiong are still unclear. Note that it should be used with caution for people with yin deficiency and fire exuberance, excessive sweating and menorrhagia. (2) The adverse reactions and contraindications of Panax notoginseng are not clear at present. Caution should be exercised in pregnant women.
