According to TCM, ovarian cancer is a tangible mass called cumulus. In general, accumulation is a condition of blood stasis, where the disease is in the blood component and is palpable, either by hand or by image, and is a real presence. It usually takes a long time to develop, requires intensive treatment, and has a long treatment period. The main differential diagnosis required in TCM is polyglot, which is considered to be nothing, i.e. a lump that can be seen but is soft to the touch, a manifestation of qi stagnation. It is often invisible and unpredictable, mainly a qi stagnation rather than an organic disease. Many of them are functional diseases, such as gastrointestinal distention or intestinal obstruction, which are relatively easy to treat, with a relatively short course of treatment and better efficacy. In conclusion, TCM considers ovarian cancer as accumulation of evidence, and the main thing that differentiates it is the evidence of gathering, some of which are organic lesions and some of which are functional lesions.
