1.Nose and nasopharynx dry feeling Due to the atrophy of the glands, the secretion is reduced, the patient feels dry and uncomfortable in the nose and throat, and the secretion is not easily eliminated. There are often scabs in the nose, sometimes with blood. When inhaling cold air, the nasal cavity and nasopharynx often have a cold feeling. 2, nasal congestion A large number of pus blemishes in the foreign cavity block the nasal passage, the air can not pass. In addition, the atrophied nasal mucosa nerve endings are dull, and cannot be detected even though there is air passing through, so nasal congestion is often felt. 3, nasal bleeding The nasal mucosa is dry and the blood vessels are prone to rupture and bleeding. Picking nose or blowing out pus crust can also damage the mucosa and cause bleeding. 4.Sniffing disorder The atrophy of the olfactory nerve terminal phase, no nerve impulses are generated; or the mucous membrane of the olfactory area is too dry, the odor-containing molecules that reach the olfactory area cannot be dissolved on the mucous membrane surface and stimulate the olfactory nerve; or the accumulation of pus defects in the nasal cavity, the odor-containing molecules in the air cannot reach the olfactory area. 5.Headache and dizziness If the nasal cavity is too wide, a large amount of cold air stimulates the nasal mucosa when inhaling, or the pus crust accumulates and presses on the nasal mucosa, or if there is sinusitis, it can cause headache and dizziness. The headache is often located in the forehead, neck and occipital area.
