When will your vision stabilize after myopic surgery?

Recovery of vision after myopic surgery is a gradual process, related to the degree of myopia, individual differences in response to treatment, and postoperative eye care, and usually reaches basic stabilization in 1~3 months. If the myopia level is high, the physical condition is poor, excessive use of eyes or complications such as secondary infection or corneal flap displacement occur after surgery, the time for visual acuity to return to stability will be prolonged. Currently, myopic surgery is mainly divided into femtosecond surgery and semi-femtosecond surgery. In femtosecond surgery, both flap making and cutting are done by femtosecond laser, which is less invasive and faster recovery. Semi-femtosecond surgery, flap making is done by femtosecond laser and cutting is done by excimer laser, there is scarring in the cornea after the surgery, the pain is stronger, and it takes longer time to recover the vision. Do not press on the eye or apply hot compresses to the eye for a short period of time after myopic surgery. Pay attention to your eyes, as far as possible, do not use your eyes continuously for more than 2 hours, and if you have any soreness or swelling when using your eyes, you need to close your eyes and take a rest. If there is any obvious discomfort after surgery, go to the hospital for consultation.
