Tinea capitis can be best treated by washing the hair with sulfur soap or 2% ketoconazole lotion once a day for 8 weeks. Next, cut the hair to remove the diseased hair as much as possible, once a week for,8 weeks. Rubbing can be done with 2% tincture of iodine or 1% bifidazole solution or cream, 5%-10% sulfur ointment, 1% terbinafine cream, etc. used externally on the affected area twice a day for 8 weeks. Patients should boil and disinfect towels, hats, pillowcases, combs, and other household items and haircutting tools that they have used. When ringworm appears, early detection, early treatment, and good disinfection are recommended, and the treatment plan is a combination of five measures: medication, rubbing, shampooing, haircutting, and disinfection is more effective.
