Does ginger cure ringworm?

There is no literature on this subject, and there is no accurate scientific basis for ginger for ringworm. Usually, ginger does provide some relief for seborrheic dermatitis, but it does not have any therapeutic effect on tinea capitis. Tinea capitis is a contagious skin disease that is a fungal infection and occurs mostly due to contact with fungal infectious agents. When the fungal infectious agent is inoculated into the broken skin of the scalp, a proliferative reaction and infection occurs, and there is flaking and erythema of the epidermis base, along with varying degrees of itching.
