It is mainly used for the treatment of indigestion, epigastric (abdominal) distension and pain. Paste Medicine is a proprietary Chinese medicine with bitter taste and slightly astringent odor made of fried Chicken Neijin, fried Glutinous Rice, fried Wheat Cake, Paste Rice, fried Six Shengqu, fried Malt, Burnt Hawthorn, fried Hovenia Citri Reticulatae, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, fried Houpu, and fried Cangzhu. This product is mainly used for the treatment of dyspepsia, regurgitation (regurgitation caused by undigested food stagnation in the stomach), belching and swallowing of acid (swallowing the acid in the stomach that rushes up to the oropharynx), distension and pain in the stomach and abdomen, diarrhea due to food accumulation (diarrhea caused by indigestion of food that is stagnated in the stomach). Adverse effects of this product are not clear, pregnant women are prohibited to use this product. It is not suitable for acute enteritis diarrhea, intestinal tuberculosis diarrhea, weak after illness, the elderly weak spleen and stomach patients to take, lactating women, allergies should be used with caution. It is recommended that patients with physical discomfort go to a regular hospital in a timely manner, and follow the doctor’s instructions for symptomatic treatment.
