Bedwetting in children is also known as nocturnal enuresis. It is caused by bad habits of the child due to incorrect parental guidance. It is mainly corrected by family education and by making the child develop good habits as well as by medication and surgery. 1. Urination interruption training: Teach your child to urinate regularly, encourage him/her to interrupt urination in the middle of each urination, and then finish the urination to train the bladder to urinate. Pay attention to changing your child’s clothes frequently, bathing regularly and keeping the hygiene of the pubic area. 2. Urine tolerance training: After the child drinks water, hold back when he or she wants to urinate, insist on half an hour of time, train once or twice a day to increase bladder capacity and reduce the number of nighttime urination. Parents should encourage their children more, children are prone to low self-esteem because of bedwetting. Parents should not blame excessively. 3. Treatment with ellagitannin, an anti-diuretic drug, is taken at bedtime to reduce nocturnal urination. Oxybutynin can increase bladder capacity and reduce bladder contraction. 4, Some children with excessive bladder contraction or urethral obstruction can be treated surgically to reduce bladder muscle tone and release the obstruction. For children bedwetting can generally be corrected slowly after the age of three, in addition to acupuncture also has a certain effect.
