Small nodular density shadows in the gallbladder are commonly associated with stones, tumors, and polyps. The causes are treated differently and generally include medication and surgery, which should be sought in a timely manner. If patients with gallbladder stones do not have symptoms, they generally do not need active surgical treatment and can be observed and followed up. However, if the stone diameter ≥ 2~3cm, accompanied by gallbladder polyps>1cm, gallbladder wall thickening, combined with diabetes mellitus, cardiorespiratory dysfunction and other patients need to undergo cholecystectomy surgery. Patients with gallbladder tumors need radical gallbladder surgery if they are in the early to mid stage. If it is advanced, palliative surgery, such as Roux-en-Y anastomosis of the common hepatic duct or T-tube drainage, is used to improve the patient’s quality of life. Surgery is required for patients with gallbladder polyps, such as gallbladder polyps with a diameter of >1cm, solitary lesions with a wide base, combined gallbladder stones and thickening of the gallbladder wall. It is recommended to visit the hospital, complete the examination, and carry out treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
