TCT and HPV are cervical cancer screening tests, TCT is a liquid-based cell scraping test to check whether there are abnormal cells on the cervix, HPV is a cervical lesion etiology test, if there is HPV infection, it indicates the possibility of cervical lesion. HPV is the etiologic test for cervical lesions. If any one of the two tests reveals a problem, further colposcopy is needed to rule out the possibility of cervical lesions.
