Breast CNB is a hollow-core needle aspiration biopsy of the breast, which is usually performed under the guidance of ultrasound of the breast to obtain multiple punctures of the breast masses and pathological examinations to determine the nature of the breast lesions. Currently, CNB examination has become the first choice for preoperative examination of occupying breast lesions or non-lumpy lesions, which can clarify the benignity and malignancy of breast lesions, thus allowing the specialist to make a quicker decision for surgical or endocrine treatment. In addition to the advantages of fine needle aspiration biopsy, CNB examination of the breast can also clarify the histological characteristics of the lesion, thus providing precise treatment for different patients and greatly improving their prognosis. However, since breast CNB requires multiple breast punctures, it may increase the trauma to the patient’s breast, which may lead to increased pain.
