What is the meaning of breast DR examination

Breast DR exam refers to mammography, which is an important test for the diagnosis of breast disease. Because of its high sensitivity to solid breast lesions, mammography is mainly used when the nature of the breast tumor cannot be determined after screening with mammography. Mammography often requires 4 x-ray exposures from the top, bottom and both sides of the breast to fully detect and treat breast lesions early. Although mammograms have a very low level of radiation and do not cause harm to normal people, care should be taken to wear radiation-protective clothing when preparing for pregnancy or when pregnant women undergo mammograms. In conclusion, mammography is effective in detecting occupational breast lesions, but it does not clarify the benignity or malignancy of the lesions.
