There are several clinical solutions for thyroid disorders: 1) hyperthyroidism, which can be treated with oral anti-hyperthyroid drugs, iodine-131 therapy and surgery. 2) hypothyroidism, which is treated with oral thyroid hormone replacement therapy, i.e. levothyroxine sodium tablets. 3) thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer and other thyroid-related masses, which can be treated with puncture. In case of benign manifestations, the patient can be reviewed periodically or take oral herbal medicines to eliminate galls and nodules, while for malignant thyroid nodules or other malignant lesions, surgery should be chosen.
