What’s with the back pain and the hip pain?

The causes of lumbar pain and hip pain may be lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, myofasciitis, and overwork. 1. Herniated lumbar intervertebral disc: long-term stooping activities or weight-bearing activities in the lower back can lead to degenerative changes in the lumbar intervertebral discs, which in turn can herniate and compress the surrounding nerves and soft tissues, thus leading to lumbar pain and hip pain. 2. Lumbar spinal stenosis: due to hyperplasia, hypertrophy, bony degeneration and other changes in the ligamentum flavum and other structures in the lumbar spinal canal, it will lead to narrowing of the spinal canal, which will compress the nerves and cause discomfort in the lower back and buttocks. 3. Myofasciitis: due to cold stimulation, strenuous exercise or external impact and other factors, it will lead to aseptic inflammation of muscles, fascia and other soft tissues, which will cause low back pain and hip pain symptoms. 4. Overexertion: Overexertion or excessive exercise can cause the accumulation of local lactic acid, resulting in physiological pain, which can be relieved after rest. As there are many causes of back pain and hip pain, if rest does not relieve, we should go to the hospital in a timely manner to improve the relevant examination, clear the cause of the disease, and then follow the doctor’s instructions for targeted treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
