How to treat multiple ground-glass density nodular shadows in both lungs

Multiple ground-glass nodular shadows in both lungs can be treated medically, surgically, or with regular follow-up, depending on the cause. There are many causes of multiple ground-glass nodular shadows in both lungs, such as tuberculosis, pulmonary nodular disease, lung tumors, and old lesions left over from inflammatory diseases. Different treatments are needed for different causes of multiple pulmonary nodules. For patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, active anti-tuberculosis treatment is needed, and common drugs include isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol, streptomycin and so on. For patients with pulmonary nodular disease, there is no specific therapeutic drug, usually symptomatic supportive therapy. For patients with lung tumors, if they meet the surgical indications, they can undergo surgical resection; if they cannot undergo surgery, they can undergo chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc. Commonly used drugs include gefitinib, ositinib, and so on. For patients with old lung lesions, if there are no symptoms, there is no need for treatment for the time being, and regular review is needed to observe whether the nodules change. Patients with multiple small nodular shadows of ground glass density in both lungs should be treated under the guidance of a doctor, and should not use medication on their own.
