Patients with frozen shoulder often do functional shoulder exercises to prevent muscle atrophy and gradually expand the range of motion of the shoulder joint to facilitate the recovery of shoulder joint function. 1. Front and back swing exercise: The patient bends forward (i.e. bends over), drops both upper limbs, and tries to relax the muscles and ligaments around the shoulder joint, then does the front and back swing movement of both upper limbs, gradually expanding the swing range, 30~50 times in a row; after resting upright, you can continue to do the swing exercise with weights hanging down. The patient bends over and holds a heavy object (0.5~2kg) to do back and forth swinging. It is worth noting that the weight should not be too heavy at the beginning of the exercise, and the weight can be gradually increased. The exercise is appropriate to not produce pain or shoulder muscle spasm. 2.Drawing circle exercise: The patient’s body is bent forward and the upper limb is lowered. Take the shoulder as the center, fling the affected limb, that is, do the circle exercise from inside to outside or from outside to inside, and drive the shoulder joint activity with the flinging of the arm. When exercising, the amplitude should be effective to large, but in order not to produce pain or muscle spasm, repeatedly do 30~50 times. 3.Wall climbing exercise: The patient should stand facing the wall, lift both hands upward, and slowly climb upward along the wall with both fingers, so that both limbs can reach the maximum upward lift. Then slowly return down to the original place, repeatedly, and gradually increase the height. 4, lateral one-handed wall climbing exercises: the patient takes a lateral position to stand toward the wall, with the affected side of the fingers along the wall slowly climb upward, so that the affected limbs as far as possible to lift up and reach the maximum, make a mark on the wall. Then slowly crawl downward of to return to the original place. Repeat the procedure and gradually increase the height.
