Frozen shoulder arm numbness

Frozen shoulder is a common and prevalent disease in daily life, also known as periarthritis of the shoulder. This disease does not induce numbness in the arm, but mainly causes pain in the patient’s shoulder, which is aggravated by cold or overexertion, as well as at night. As the condition progresses, it can also limit movement. Numbness in the arm is usually induced by nerve compression due to cervical spondylosis, or compression of the ulnar or median nerve due to carpal tunnel syndrome, which induces numbness in the arm. In this case, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time to find out which cause is responsible and then give targeted treatment.
