Yam water, i.e. water boiled with the Chinese medicine yam, is effective in benefiting qi and nourishing yin (tonifying qi and yin), tonifying the spleen, lungs and kidneys, and consolidating essence and stopping bandages.
Yam is a traditional Chinese medicine, which is the rhizome of Dioscorea spp. of the family Dioscoreaceae. It is sweet in taste and flat in nature, and belongs to the lung, spleen and kidney meridians, with the effects of benefiting qi and nourishing yin, nourishing the spleen, lungs and kidneys, and fixing semen and stopping leucorrhoea.
This product is mainly used for the treatment of spleen deficiency with little food, tiredness (fatigue), loose stools (thin and unformed feces) and diarrhea, lung deficiency with asthma and cough, kidney deficiency with spermatorrhea, dysuria and frequent urination, and internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by excessive eating, drinking and urination).
The adverse reactions of this product are not clear at present. Note that this product is prohibited for those who are allergic to this product, allergic individuals should be cautious, dampness in the fullness (dampness is too heavy to cause fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach) or those who have a solid evil, stagnation is prohibited.
