How to exercise the internal thigh muscles in hemiplegic patients

Patients with hemiplegia should exercise the medial thigh muscles according to the severity of the disease by taking activities and passive training with the help of family members.
1. For patients who can move their lower limbs but have difficulty walking, they can move slowly with the help of their family members and gradually increase the muscle strength of the medial thigh muscles during the activities. In addition to walking, they can also carry out stretching, flexion and extension activities with the help of their family members, and they need to pay attention to the exercise to be gradual and orderly.
2. For patients who cannot move their lower limbs and can only exercise in bed, passive training (such as hip abduction and adduction, internal and external rotational movements, etc.) of the medial thigh muscle groups can be carried out with the help of other people, and massages can be carried out on various joints of the legs.
It should be noted that the muscle training of hemiplegic patients’ legs should be carried out under the guidance of professionals, and should not be trained blindly.
