The evaluation of chemotherapy effect is divided into five levels respectively: i. Complete remission, i.e. the area where the lump originally appeared is no longer visible to the naked eye. All the symptoms and signs related to malignant tumor almost disappeared for four weeks or more, which is the best evaluation of efficacy. Partial remission, i.e. the size of the lump shrinks by more than 50% after chemotherapy compared with the initial diagnosis, and the related symptoms and signs mostly disappear for four weeks or more. Disease improvement, i.e. the size of the mass shrinks by 25% or more, and the related symptoms and signs are significantly reduced for four weeks or more. Stable disease, i.e., the size of the mass does not decrease or increase by more than 25%, and no new masses appear. V. Disease progression, i.e. the lump size increases by more than 25% or a new lump appears. After 2-3 courses of chemotherapy, cancer patients should review CT and other examinations and evaluate the efficacy of treatment according to the above stratification according to the size of the masses shown in CT.
