Thyroid disease can be clinically divided into goiter, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroiditis, all of which have different diets. Simple goiter, also known as macrosomia, is caused by iodine deficiency, and patients can eat foods with high iodine content such as seaweed, nori, and seafood. For patients with hyperthyroidism, try to avoid eating foods with high iodine content, such as clams, seaweed and seaweed. For iodized salt, which is now common in our country, it is also recommended that these patients put it in their stir-fry first to evaporate the iodine before taking it. Calcification of thyroid nodules is based on the pathological manifestations of thyroid nodules. 85% of patients with thyroid nodules have calcification, which is predominantly hyperechoic on ultrasound. This category is usually treated with follow-up without specific pharmacological intervention. If there is a combination of decreased thyroid function, clinical treatment will be administered. For this group of patients, treatment depends on the late stage of the disease, if it is divided into declining thyroid function, thyroid hormone supplementation is administered. For hyperthyroidism, anti-thyroxine therapy is administered. If the symptoms are combined, the patient is recommended to go to a specialist hospital for treatment.
