How to treat malignant melanoma of the oral cavity

Malignant melanoma in the oral cavity is suitable to adopt a comprehensive treatment approach, including surgical treatment, biological treatment, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and so on. 1. Surgical treatment: in the case of not affecting the function, leave the tumor 2 centimeters to be resected in the normal tissue. For ink-immersed, extensive or multiple cases, it is not an indication for surgery, and often exceeds the estimated range and cannot be completely removed. 2. Biological therapy: (1) Non-specific immunotherapy: such as with BCG, levamisole, etc., but its effect is not ideal. (2) Specific immunotherapy: using virus to produce melanoma cytolytic product for specific immunotherapy, this therapy is used for stage I malignant melanoma with better effect. (3) High-dose interferon-a2b therapy is currently a more effective adjuvant method. 3. Chemotherapy: due to the high rate of local recurrence and metastasis of malignant melanoma, chemotherapy can be used to improve the therapeutic effect. At present, the most commonly used drug is anti-melanoma drug (triazine imidazolamide). 4. Radiation therapy: after surgery, adjuvant radiation therapy has certain effect. Patients with oral malignant melanoma should not take medication by themselves, and should go to the hospital in time and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors.
