How do blood tests show anemia?

Generally, a lower than normal hemoglobin level in the blood count is considered anemia. Anemia is a common clinical condition in which the volume of red blood cells in the peripheral blood of the human body decreases and falls below the lower limit of the normal range. Because of the complexity of red blood cell volume measurement, hemoglobin concentration is often used as a clinical substitute. Under normal circumstances, adult men with hemoglobin below 120g/L, adult women (non-pregnant) with hemoglobin below 110g/L, and pregnant women with hemoglobin below 100g/L suggest anemia. Anemia can be prevented by eating a varied diet of lean meat, egg yolks and vegetables, keeping an optimistic mindset and maintaining a regular routine in daily life. Once anemia occurs, specific causes need to be specifically analyzed, it is recommended that the regular hospital hematology department to find out the cause of anemia.
