March 9 to March 15, 2014 is the annual World Glaucoma Week. The theme of this year’s World Glaucoma Week is: “Beat the Invisible Vision Killer —- Glaucoma”. To welcome this year’s World Glaucoma Week, raise awareness of glaucoma, a highly blinding eye disease, and strengthen the education and popularization of glaucoma prevention and treatment, Tianjin Eye Hospital will hold a series of meaningful activities during this period. On March 14, a lecture on glaucoma science and knowledge will be held on the second floor of Tianjin Eye Hospital, and the public is welcome to participate. It aims to popularize the knowledge of glaucoma and enable patients to obtain early diagnosis and early treatment, as well as to be able to help patients and their families to improve their understanding of glaucoma and guide them to regular treatment.
