If the menstruation is delayed for 2 days for women who have very regular menstruation, pregnancy can be detected in most cases; however, if the menstruation is very irregular in the past and the menstruation is delayed for 2 days, in this case, most of the time, pregnancy may not be detected. There are three types of pregnancy tests: 1) urine pregnancy test, 2) blood HCG, 3) gynecological ultrasound to further clarify whether the pregnancy is intrauterine or extrauterine. If the patient’s menstruation has been delayed for 2 days, the urine pregnancy test is negative, for this case, need to further draw blood to check the blood HCG, because the urine pregnancy test may be false-negative, if the blood HCG value suggests that the rise, then it is a pregnancy, and need to further check the gynecological ultrasound to clarify the diagnosis; if the menstruation has been delayed for 2 days and the urine pregnancy test is positive, then suggests that the pregnancy.
