Normal spermatozoa are those with normal head, neck, mid-section, and tail during sperm morphometry. The head of the spermatozoon is oval with well defined acrosome. The midpiece is thinner than the head and is about 1.5 times longer than the head. The tail should be straighter and thinner than the midpiece and homogeneous. The total length of the spermatozoa is about 50⁓60 μm and the external shape resembles that of a tadpole.
